Integrative Psychotherapy combines traditional modalities such as insight based, cognitive and cognitive behavioral therapy with holistic modalities such as meditation, guided imagery, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and body focused techniques which are tailored to meet the needs of the individual. This in-depth approach is grounded in the belief that answers to life’s challenges lie within and that each person possesses an innate ability to eliminate self-defeating patterns to create positive change. This naturally leads to an increase in the capacity to experience joy through self-knowledge and self-awareness.
